Introduction:

Being originally from the Alsace region of France, the Khoury family wanted to make a wine from a blend of different grape varieties traditionally used in the Alsace white wine industry. This dream was made to accompany famous traditional dishes like quiche and sauerkraut.

Winemaking process:

- Harvest: End of August

- Harvested by hand, pneumatic pressing and fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks

- Fermentation: 3 weeks

- Partial Malolactic Fermentation

Tasting advice:

- Serving temperature: 5°C

- Store: 5 to 7 years

- Wine and food pairing: Excellent with fish, seafood, and of course sauerkraut. It can also be enjoyed as an aperitif or to accompany the cold starters of a Lebanese mezze

 

Tasting notes:

- Clear and bright clean wine, with a pale gold color

- The nose is open, fresh with pineapple notes and citrus fruits such as tangerine and grapefruit

- The palate is soft, light, and fresh, where we'll find the grapefruit with a blend of rosewood

- The final leaves a very nice impression in mouth with a feeling of velvet

- Overall, a nice balance coupled with a good length
